The performance in the AP ECET entrance test determines a candidate's eligibility for Pragati Engineering College admission 2023 to the B.Tech lateral entry courses. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education has released the official dates for the AP ECET second phase counselling in 2023. The proposal states that online registration for the second round will start on August 24, 2023. In addition to enrolling, candidates must also pay the processing fees online. Candidates who have not yet participated in the preliminary rounds must submit their application by the deadline and register for counselling in the second phase.

Pragati Engineering College was established in the year 2001 as the flagship institution under the aegis of the Gayatri Educational Society. It is a private, autonomous institute which is situated in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The college is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK). It has been recognised by UGC as well as the Government of Andhra Pradesh and has also been approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
